Rivermen keep finding ways to win

Somehow, the Six Nations Rivermen simply find a way to win.

The Ontario Senior B Lacrosse League’s top team remain undefeated after Kedoh Hill’s lone third-period goal gave the Rivermen a 5-4 win over the Ennismore James Gang on the road Saturday.

The Rivermen now boast a 11-0 record.

After the James Gang took an early lead thanks to Josh Wasson-Mcquigge and Jeff Swift, Dwayne Porter and Danton Miller replied late in the first period and early in the second.

The two teams then exchange goals tying things up after 40 minutes.

Miller, Stu Hill and Cory Bomberry scored for the Rivermen, while the James Gang replied with goals from Josh Gilray and Courtland Black-Araujo.

Warren Hill got the win in the Rivermen net, giving him a 5-0 record on the season.

With five games remaining in the regular season, the Rivermen host the Brooklin Merchants Saturday at 7 p.m. at Gaylord Powless Arena.
