Thunder look strong in win over Croatia

The Simcoe Thunder bounced back in a huge way on Thursday night at E&E McLaughlin Sports Park.

The Western Ontario Soccer League First Division side got two goals from Fabio Francisco, as they defeated Croatia 4-0.

Mike Couperus and Spencer Logan also added goals for the Thunder.

The victory puts the Thunder record at 3-2-1, which is good for fourth place and only three points out of first.

Saturday, the Thunder are facing Taxandria in Lambton Shores, before hosting another league cup game on June 28 at 8:30 p.m. against St. Thomas. The next night, they host St. Columban in league action, also at 8:30 p.m.
