The Six Nations Warriors' fantastic season has come to a screeching halt.

Despite a valiant effort to come back in the third period Saturday, it was too little too late as the Brantford Warriors came away with a 9-6 win over the Six Nations Warriors at the Gretzky Centre.

With the win, the Brantford Warriors take the best-of-five Ontario Jr. C Lacrosse League West Division semifinal series 3-1.

Jayden Drage and Austin Giles gave Brantford a quick lead before Ryan Johnson responded with two goals of his own

But just over a minute after Johnson’s second goal, Ty Argent and Caleb Wells gave Brantford a lead they wouldn’t give up.

Jordan Ackie and Jacob Parkinson added to the lead in the second period, while Marshall Powless scored the lone Six Nations response.

Hunter Aggus and Issaac Solazzo put the game out of reach for Brantford and Giles added his second of the game for good measure.

Todd Thomas Jr., Jordan Myke and Jaxon Martin scored for Six Nations.

Brantford, which came in as the fourth seed in the west Division and beat the first seed from Six Nations, will face the Fergus Thistles in the division final.
